One last post to wrap up 2011!

There has been a lot of hard work and WORDS put into getyourwordsout for 2011. While it is commendable that so many members have stuck with the community for all of 2011, we must take a moment to celebrate the writers who didn’t just stick with the community but who also achieved their pledged goal. You all know how difficult that was!

Below the cut is a list of the writers who met or surpassed 100% of their pledge goal. We’ve been quietly boggling all year at when these writers hit these goals and how far they went beyond their pledges. Come boggle with us and celebrate these writers for completing their GYWO challenge.

Happy New Year to everyone! With the start of 2012 on the east coast of the US, we've closed membership for the year. Everyone who pledged and requested membership is currently a member.

If you missed out on joining us this year, feel free to watch the comm and join us in 2013.

Today is the ABSOLUTELY LAST DAY to make your pledge for getyourwordsout 2012. We will not accept any pledges made after December 31—no excuses, exceptions, or cash back with a valid receipt. You MUST PLEDGE and MUST REQUEST MEMBERSHIP to be a member. If you have done only one, you are NOT a member for 2012. (Check to make sure you pledged at the links below!*)

*Some people have reported difficulty seeing screened comments, so we have contacted everyone who is currently missing a pledge. Check your PMs and if you don't have a message, you should be all set.

Members of GYWO 2011—any members who have not pledged for 2012 will be removed from the community on January 1 (that’d be at midnight tonight EST). You, too, must make your 2012 pledge TODAY.

ALSO you must check-in today! We really want to know your final count for the year, so please submit your word count right away! If you’re pledging for 2012 we especially want your final number for the year.
